Rabbit Anti-TRPM2/FITC Conjugated antibody
background:
TRPM2 is a Ca(2+)-permeable channel that is activated by oxidative stress and confers susceptibility to cell death.
Subunit:
Isoform 1 can interact with isoform 3. This interaction decreases calcium influx through isoform 1 and suppresses susceptibility to oxidative stress-induced cell death.
Subcellular Location:
Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue Specificity:
Highly expressed in brain and peripheral blood cells, such as neutrophils. Also detected in bone marrow, spleen, heart, liver and lung. Isoform 2 is found in neutrophil granulocytes.
Similarity:
Belongs to the transient receptor (TC 1.A.4) family. LTrpC subfamily. TRPM2 sub-subfamily.
Contains 1 nudix hydrolase domain.
