background:
Zinc finger protein 92 (ZNF92) is a 586 amino acid member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc finger protein family. Localized to the nucleus, ZNF92 contains 16 C2H2-type zinc fingers and one KRAB domain through which it is thought to be involved in DNA-binding and transcriptional regulation. Three isoforms of ZNF92 exist as a result of alternative splicing events.
Function:
May be involved in transcriptional regulation.
Subcellular Location:
Nucleus.
Similarity:
Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family.
Contains 16 C2H2-type zinc fingers.
Contains 1 KRAB domain.
