Rabbit Anti-Cortexin 1 antibody
Cortexin 1 and Cortexin 3 are single-pass membrane proteins. Cortexin 1 may be involved in mediating extracellular or intracellular signaling of cortical neurons during forebrain development. Cortexin 3 is specifically expressed in kidney and brain. Exsiting as two isoforms due alternative splicing, cortexin 3 may mediate extracellular or intracellular signaling in the kidney or brain.
Function:
May mediate extracellular or intracellular signaling of cortical neurons during forebrain development.
Subcellular Location:
Membrane; Single-pass membrane protein (Potential).
Similarity:
Belongs to the cortexin family.
