ZNF236 belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It contains thirty C2H2-type zinc fingers. ZNF236 may be involved in transcriptional regulation. Ubiquitous. Expression levels are highest in skeletal muscle and brain, intermediate in heart, pancreas, and placenta, and lowest in kidney, liver, and lung. There are two named isoforms.
